O império do Wii em decadência ?

Para quem acha que o Nintendo Wii revolucionou a maneira de jogar videogames, espere para ver o que as mentes brilhantes dos projetistas de hardware estão pensando.

Recentemente foi noticiado pelo site Gamesindustry.biz que a Sony está desenvolvendo um controle que é semelhante ao Wii remote e Nunchuck da Nintendo, porém ele seria "desmontável", ou seja, modularizado, podendo ser usado tanto nas mãos quanto nos pés. Existe uma possibilidade que a apresentação deste controle seja nesta E3 2008.

Parece também que os engenheiros do entretenimento estão inspirados. Desenvolvedores da Softkinetic anunciaram oficialmente o lançamento de um sistema de detecção de movimentos a ser utilizado em videogames. No site Gamasutra tem a notícia completa.
